Motorola RAZR Has finally arrived!

Motorola RAZR Motorola has revived its favourite label the Motorola RAZR. This new ANDROID 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) powered, smart phone features a stylish and slim design, Dual-core processor and a 4.3” Super AMOLED screen.

Motorola RAZR At first glance

RAZR has stolen the title as the worlds thinnest smart phone coming in at 7.1mm at its thinnest point; thinner even than the Samsung Galaxy II by 1.4mm. Motorola have not sacrificed strength for size either! RAZR’s thin body features a rear cover with Dupont® KEVLAR® fiber, while Corning® Gorilla® Glass helps the screen stand up to scratches and scrapes.

The 4.3” Super AMOLED display shows deep blacks and clear bright colours. The RAZR features 960x540px resolution — just shy of the iPhone 4/4S’s resolution.

Motorola RAZR AlburyAnother excellent feature is RAZR is protected with a splash-guard coating — protecting even the electrical boards inside. Motorola claim it is not water-proof (as the ports are exposed) but small amounts of liquid will simply bead off the phones surfaces! So don’t go throwing it your bath….
Everything runs smoothly thanks to the dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP4430 processor, with ARM Cortex A9 cores. The RAZR has an eight megapixel HD camera and its software has been upgraded to include panoramic photography like what’s built into Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.  RAZR features a 1780 mAh Li Ion batter that will last a claimed 324 hours on standby.
This phone is the third phone we have seen to use Micro-sim technology, following iPhone and Nokia N9 which will making switching from an iPhone that bit simpler!

Motorola RAZR features full Windows and Mac compatibility and can sync your music pictures and videos using the new Motocast software.

iPhone Bumper Protects You From Harm

After the antenna debacle, getting an iPhone 4 bumper was almost a necessity. Apple had for a limited time given away free models to any customer who experienced reception issues. A bumper for your phone will protect it in the long run which is very important if you plan to resell the model in order to get an upgrade.

iPhone Bumper Protects Screen

They will have a raised edge on the front which will help protect the screen if dropped. There are almost limitless styles available when it comes to selecting an iPhone 4 bumper. You will find many different colors along with a wide variety of graphics and designs to make your phone unique and personal. There are also rubberized versions available which offer slightly more shock protection if your phone is going to take some abuse.

iPhone 4 Bumpers In Case You Drop It

This is not just for if the phone is dropped but many people keep the device in their pocket. This can result in unexpected pressure on the phone when leaning over a counter or even bumping into something. When making a large investment and/or signing a long term contract, it is wise to take the right steps to protect the investment.

iPhone Bumper 4 Protection

Purchasing an iPhone 4 bumper is a smart move that will protect you in the long run. Keep in mind though that an AT&T iPhone may have slightly different button placement compared to the models offered by Verizon. This is why you should make sure the dealer selling you a bumper knows what they are doing, and perhaps may even specialize in accessories like iPhone 4 bumpers.

iPhone Bluetooth A Quality Headset

While there was a batch of iPhone 4 units manufactured in the beginning with very limited Bluetooth range, this was quickly taken care of and is no longer an issue. The iPhone 4 is compatible with just about any bluetooth device, and will allow you to truly take advantage of the high end features offered by quality headsets.

Any Bluetooth May Work

You do not have to purchase a unit designed to go specifically with the iPhone 4 bluetooth, but you may want to consider doing so in order to get maximum compatibility. Many cell phone dealers will have specific suggestions and know what works best due to testing and user feedback. If you are unsure, it never hurts to ask.

iPhone All Bluetooth Headsets Not The Same

Some bluetooth headsets are better than others of course, but the iPhone 4 bluetooth capabilities will help make up for that difference. In most cases you have already spent quite a bit of money on your phone, so want to get as much out of it as you can. Purchasing a high quality headset will help you in this regard.

iPhone Bluetooth 4 You

Take advantage of the advanced features of the iPhone 4 and treat yourself to a quality headset which will not leave you wanting more. Remember that size is not everything, as sometimes the smaller units will have less features as there are only so many things to be crammed in one little device.

iPhone Lower Volume To Save Battery

Check the polls online, and the jury is still out after all this time on just how good the iPhone 4 battery life holds up. This really is a tough subject to judge considering there are a lot of different variables when using a phone. First and foremost is how high the brightness is turned up. While minor, the volume also plays a similar role.

iPhone 4 Battery Life Longer Without Wi-Fi

Using the wireless network for internet browsing eats up a lot of the iPhone 4′s battery juice as well. Some people suggest turning off the 3G when not in use but come on, how long are you really going to keep doing that. Turning off the wi-fi when not in use however, tends to be much more feasible for most users and will help you get longer life out of your battery.

iPhone 4 Battery Life The Same

There are a number of people who claim to get far more hours than average out of the phone, and they are probably the ones who understand how electricity works. At the same time there are quite a bit of complaints, but again it all depends on how you use the phone. No matter how good you think the iPhone 4 battery life is, the bottom line is that the battery technology has not changed a whole lot in recent years.

iPhone 4 Battery Life Lithium Ion Still

They are still lithium ion, and are still only good for around 500 charges or so if you treat them nicely. Most people don’t even realize that when you use the phone while on the charger, you are putting a huge strain on the battery simply with the amount of heat that is produced from the current passing through. You should treat your valuable iPhone 4 battery as it needs to be treated. Take great care in how you use it so that you will get the maximum value for your money.

iPhone Case Accessories

When buying a high end phone like the iPhone 4 you are going to want to get the best accessories for it. There are a multitude of these available, and most all of them are rather affordable. Generally the most common ones seem to be in the way of cases. There is everything from flip open leather cases which protect the screen, to plastic snap on versions which will also keep the screen from directly hitting the ground if dropped.

iPhone Privacy Protector Accessories

A lesser known iPhone 4 accessory is the privacy protector. It is basically a stick on film but has a unique tint, so that the screen can only be viewed when looking straight at the phone. This is very useful when in crowds and want to stop those peering eyes from seeing what you are doing.

iPhone Battery Accessories

There is also a quite handy battery extender on the market which helps make your battery last longer by offering smart power control features. While pricey, it is a good investment to extend the life of your iPhone. With iPhone more battery is used if charging the battery and using the phone.

iPhone Dock Accessories

You will also find a huge assortment of docks when searching for iPhone 4 accessories. There are ones to turn your phone into an alarm clock, mp3 player, or just about anything that it would be possible to do with the phone. Just take a look around and I am sure that you will find something that interests you.

iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 Is Cheaper

While the new iPhone 4S has been creating a lot of buzz, earlier models like the iPhone 3G or the iPhone 4 are still a very powerful smart phones. Those who have a limited budget and cannot afford the latest and greatest will not be let down by either one. You can consider the iPhone 4 to be more of a revision of the iPhone 3G rather than a new model, as it was really only a minor leap forward in features.

iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 Not Much Changed

Mostly the newer model is centered around using the two way video chat. The average user will not make use of this often, and the iPhone 3G handles this extremely well when located near a wi-fi hotspot. The limits were originally put in place so the wireless carrier could save bandwidth, and rather than make this a software issue this modification was put directly into the hardware architecture and needs specific firmware to operate.

iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 Refurbished

Now you can get both a refurbished or used iPhone 3G or iPhone 4 for far less than previously, since the new iPhone 4S has arrived. This will let even more people have a chance to experience one of the most powerful smart phones available. When purchasing a used phone, it is recommended that you only make the transaction from a reputable dealer.

iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 Buy From A Reputable Dealer

A broken contract without paying the termination fees leaves a phone that is locked out of the network. This would mean that you lost your money to whoever sold you the phone if it cannot be activated. That is the primary reason that a reputable cell phone dealer should be the only seller you should purchase a used iPhone 3G or 4 model from.

HTC Hero Multi-Touch Input Screen

The HTC Hero was an earlier release from HTC. It featured significant advances that helped to establish HTC’s firm standing in the smartphone market. The HTC Hero was the first to have both a 3.5mm audio jack (thus allowing it to use normal speakers or headphones for a greater range of choice) but also the first to have a screen that was capable of multi-touch input.

Customize Settings With HTC Hero

An easier to use user interface is included that allows the user to put important functions of the phone at their finger tips, by creating custom widgets that sit on the home screen of their HTC Hero. HTC Hero phones have other special features. HTC Scenes makes the creation of custom profiles easy, so that changing the settings on your phones to match your circumstances is easy.

HTC Hero Geo-Tag Photos

Footprints is the HTC version of geo-tagging for your photos, letting you combine location information with the photographs that you take on the 5 mega pixel camera. The ability to stay in touch is easier than ever, because the HTC EVO puts all of your friend’s information in one place. This includes phone numbers and any other way possible for you to keep in touch.

HTC Hero Keep Up With Facebook

You see all of your friend’s status updates and photographs in one place. The 528mhz processor and 512mb of memory provide a smooth user experience with the Android operating system, and the HTC Hero is capable of playing both MP3s and videos. At least 420 minutes of talk time is provided by a single battery, if the MP3 player or video player are not used.

HTC HD Mini Is A Tiny Phone With Many Benefits

The world of the smartphone has brought a great deal of functionality for people who are always on the go. But these phones have become progressively larger, leaving many people put off by the size of the handsets. The HTC HD Mini made an effort to address this with the release of this smaller phone. The HTC HD Mini is no small phone when it comes to specs.

HTC HD Mini Runs On Windows Mobile

With a 600mhz processor and 384mb of memory, it has plenty of power to run the Windows Mobile 6.5. Professional, and the HTC Sense user interface makes for an intuitive user experience. Where this phone really wins is the size. Though the screen is still an impressive 3.2 inches, there is almost no dead space. The bezel is very thin, making the phone almost no bigger than its screen.

HTC HD Mini Great Visuals And Camera

The screen is multi-touch and vivid, giving crisp, clean images. It is perfect for web browsing, email, and for viewing the photos taken on the 5 mega pixel camera. The camera is auto-focus, and capable of taking wide screen images.

HTC HD Mini Has It All

The micro SD card that the camera uses can store and allow the transfer of the photos, and up to 32GB is supported. Web browsing is via the small and fast Opera Mobile browser, which supports tabbed browsing on mobile devices. Music playing and video watching is via the mobile version of Windows Media Player, for easy playing.

HTC EVO 4G Phone

Now that the first 4G networks have been developed and are growing rapidly, we are seeing the introduction of the phones that will run on those networks. The HTC EVO 4G is one of the first and most impressive of the phones and is designed to run on the WiMAX network. The HTC EVO 4G is designed to provide always-on internet access, no matter where you are.

HTC EVO Front And Rear Camera

It has the capability to be used as a mobile WiFi hotspot, running up to five other devices on a high speed internet connection of up to 10mbps. There are both front and rear facing cameras on this phone. The front camera is intended for use during video calls. The rear camera is a good 8 mega pixels.

HTC EVO Is A Real Multi-Tasker

There are two LED flashes and a HD video recorder that can output to a TV via a HDMI cable. The HTC EVO 4G’s hardware is top of the line, with a 1ghz Snapdragon processor and 512mb of memory, to allow smooth video and game playing and true multitasking. Interestingly, there is a new sensor in use on this phone that sense proximity to a person’s face.

HTC EVO Screen Sensor Prevents Phone Mishaps

That sensor is used to turn the screen off during a phone call. This saves the battery life. Plus, prevents the person’s face touching the screen and pressing a button, inadvertently ending the call or starting another function.

HTC Diamond Performs Well And Looks Great

The HTC Diamond is a stylish phone, designed with both looks and performance in mind. Intuitive use was another important feature and this phone is smaller than many of the smartphones currently available. There is a 2.8inch touch screen runs at VGA resolution, and with the 3D graphics processor that is built into the 528mhz processing chip, this gives impressive TouchFlo 3D graphics. The TouchFlo interface acts as an overlay to the operating system, giving greater ease of use.

HTC Diamond 4G Storage

The inbuilt camera on the HTC Diamond shoots at 3.2 mega pixel, and stores photos on the cameras internal storage. There is no SD card slot, meaning that there is no way to increase the amount of storage, but the phone has 4GB of storage so this is unlikely to be much of a problem. Videos can also be shot via the rear facing camera, and a second camera is included in the front of the camera that shoots at VGA quality.

HTC Diamond Windows Mobile

The battery life of this small phone isn’t the best, but the battery is user replaceable. This means that it is possible to carry along a spare with you, in order to massively increase your usage time. The 528mhz processor runs well with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, and there is 192mb of memory.

HTC Diamond The Internet On Your Phone

Internet access is provided by the ultra fast HSDPA connection where available. This is not only available for browsing and email, but also for updating social networks. With weather apps, organizers and anything else that needs a network connection.
